Challenges of the Global Information Society Pekka Himanen (born November 19, 1973) is a Finnish philosopher. He studied philosophy at the University of Helsinki and computer science as a minor. Pekka Himanen is the youngest PhD in Finland. In 2004, he presented a report to the Finnish Parliament on world economic models and technologies.
